Ever
want to learn how to play the guitar like Eddie Stein, Eric Swan,
Mac, or the one and only, Brad Savage? Here
is a great start to gain your interest.
Practice
any three of these chords, and you can play just about any
Cockroach tune ever recorded.

Song
o’ February
Rockin’
and REELin’, again
With
St. Patrick’s Day due next month, I’m getting the Celtic
itch, again, and I’m joining an informal group of folks who
want to play traditional Irish music and, well, anything from
the British Isles. So we’re lookin’ at “The Mountain
Road” (as performed by a group on this page; no, our group
does not plan to go to the Grand Canyon) and lots o’ other
tunes.
With a lot
of support from friends at Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the
Catholic Information Center in GR, I performed a one-man show,
“Call Me Catheran,” last month. Had words and music (some
blues, bluegrass, gospel and even a little Beethoven) along
with some flubs and off-key moments, but I persevered and had
a great time! And we raised funds for the Heartside
Neighborhood Collaboration Project, an ecumenical effort that
helps direct aid to the needy. Hey, Kelly, thanks for the use
of your Taylor guitar, I’ll return it shortly.
Keep
pickin’, strummin’, fiddlin’, blowin’ or whatever is
needed to make music!
