A happy November to
all our readers.
I would like to
welcome our recent subscribers to the Metro. Matt, Tina, Tim, Robby,
and Chris. Welcome to the Metro
October brought about
a change in weather and many leaves to rake. Much like the first two
letters in the name, November
is kind of a "No" month. Thomas Hood penned these lines
about the month
"No
warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member -
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds -
November!" |

The
month of November and specifically Thanksgiving does remind us all the
things we are thankful for. For me, I am thankful for Margaret, my family,
and especially my granddaughter Alexa.
My
hope is that during this month, we all can take a moment out of our busy
schedules and tell those that we are thankful for, just how much we love
and appreciate them. My final thought I leave you with is a letter.
