Let's
face it... 2020 left a lot to be desired. One
constant through the pandemic and turbulent
times has been the McCarty Metro! This
is the 16th annual Dudley Awards are
brought to you once again by Bradric Productions. Our aim is to
acknowledge the best of the McCarty Metro this past year in
2020. The
prestigious Dudley Award (right) are being presented in this
issue. All winners were decided by reader votes.
The ballot was in your February edition of the
McCarty Metro. Voting started on January 19th,
and concluded on February 18.

With
the pandemic in full swing, On May 1, Austin McCarty graduated from
the University of Michigan with a masters degree in business (MBA).
The ceremony was virtual, but with the help of Kristina, we had a drive-by parade in front of his home to show our support.
Thanks to all the McCartys and
friends who helped make his
accomplishment more meaningful.

Happy Hair
Productions is the readers choice this year. The Tennessee
based video duo consists of Larry and Gina
McCarty who have won multiple Metro Film Contests,
and keeping their content fresh and
innovated. The Happy Hair teams with
others including
Los Banditos Productions and Chris Love
Studios. Besides Larry and Gina, their
friends and family do a lot of the
acting including the Lopez family, the Love family,
the Lambert family, and Larry's
daughters and families.

CARES
UHY Cares was an idea inspired by employees of UHY and is volunteer based. Through UHY Cares, employees are able to give back to the community, including helping individuals going through personal emergencies or hardships. Cares has provided assistance to hundreds of charities and families and continues to grow this list every year. They also have raised funds sponsoring the Annual Dan McCarty charity events like the Texas Holdem
usually held in February.
