Cancer is not funny, but life sure is. I was diagnosed with Spinal Cancer in December, 2015.
Here are some funny things that happened in the last month
.
How come everybody is always talks about fighting? “Put up a Fight”, “Keep up the Fight”, “Fight the Good Fight”. If fighting means being rolled up in a ball and puking your guts out, then I’m
frickin' Mike Tyson!

My brother Rick seeing me in Detroit: “Jer, you look a lot better than you did in Vegas”
Me (thinking): “When you saw me in Vegas, I had just gotten out of the hospital after a 2 pint blood transfusion, blood clots in my legs, and surgery and then I drove 300 miles to Las Vegas, threw up, and lost $200 playing Black Jack. I better look better now!”

After the nurse tried 4 times to find a vein in my arm...
Me: “You do know what a vein looks like, don’t you?”
|
|
Doctor: “Do you smoke?”
Me: “No”
Doctor: “Do drugs?”
Me: “No”
Doctor: “Do you drink?”
Me: “No”
Doctor: “Any other vices?”
Me: “I lie a lot”
