Hello Ladies and Gentleman.
It's great to be here. I
wanna tell you, that it has been a wild and wacky summer and I’m looking
forward to the fall.
Lots
of weather related news this past month. Did you see that
tornado knock down the stage in Indianapolis?Wasn’t that wild?I
haven’t seen that deadly of a wind on stage since Brad Savage ate
3 Hard Boiled Eggs before a gig at the Wooden Nickel.Isn’t that something?
And
how bout that Hurricane Irene? Wasn't that something. I haven't seen
that many people evacuate an area because of Irene since the McCarty's were playing
baseball in the street on Sussex, and the ball broke Irene Joswiak's
window. Isn't that something? You know, the Irene lost a lot of
punch when it went up the coast. I haven’t been that disappointed by a Hurricane since Irish Mickey Doyle beat Hurricane Hank James. Isn’t that wild?
Did you see that Republican national debate from Iowa?Wasn’t that
wild?I haven’t seen that many Wannabe Right Wingers since the
1978 Detroit Red Wings.Isn’t
that something?
And how about that
Kristen McCarty tripping and falling while visiting Wineries in
Northern California?Wasn’t
that wild?I haven’t
seen a McCarty trip and fall like that since Mike McCarty tomorrow.Isn’t that something?
Speaking
of trips, how bout that Kelly & Margaret visiting Oregon and standing
on top of a mountain. Wasn't that something? Kelly states that he hasn't
been that close to God since installing his CB antennae on Mom's roof in a
lightning storm? Isn't that wild?
And that
Jerry McCarty had to take two more trips to China this past month. Wasn't
that something? I haven't seen anyone travel farther than Jer since Mike
McCarty took a walk around Mom's block on Goldridge and was found hours
later, lost! Isn't that wild?
Did you see the
makeover that Wally gave Mom McCarty’s kitchen?Wasn’t that something?I haven’t seen that much Dark Wood since Halle Berry walked
into the LA Lakers Locker Room.Isn’t that wild?
And how
bout those first place Detroit Tigers? They have a lot of Latino stars
playing for them. After listening to interviews from some of the players,
I haven't had as much trouble trying to understand what someone is saying
since going down to old Tiger Stadium and listening to Dan McCarty talking
"Jive" to the neighborhood kids around where he parked
illegally. Isn't that wild?
And how about that
earthquake in centered in Washington DC.? Wasn’t that wild? I have seen that much shaking in Washington since Michael J. Fox testified before Congress about Parkinsons Disease.
I also read it actually wasn't technically an earthquake... It was just Obama paying
the Chinese what we owe them with a check.... AND IT BOUNCED!
