first day God created the bat.
And the uniform including a hat.
On day two he created balls.
And an umpire to make all the calls.
Day three came God created mitts.
He threw down some rocks to give us fits.
On day four God created bases.
He created cleats and it was off to the races.
On day five God created the stands.
And filled them with people he would call fans.
On day six God was just about done.
But he had to keep score so God created the run
On day seven to sleep God would fall.
But before he did God named it baseball.
