How about that Landon Donovan of the US Soccer Team Scoring a goal to break a 0-0 tie in their World Cup game against Algeria? Wasn’t that something? I haven’t been that bored for 87 minutes since Larry McCarty quit making videos. Isn’t that wild?
How about that General Stanley McChrystal getting fired for talking to Rolling Stone Magazine. Wasn’t that wild? I haven’t seen so much excitement about someone opening their mouth in Washington since Monica Lewinsky. Isn’t that something?
And how about that 4.0 Earthquake in Quebec? Wasn’t that something? I haven’t seen anything in Canada shake that much since Darren McCarty had the DT’s. Isn’t that wild?
How about those Molotov Cocktails and Burned Cars at the G-20 Summit in Toronto? Wasn’t that wild? I have seen that much Mayhem and Explosions since the 1982 McCarty 4th of July Celebration. Isn’t that something?
How about that Tom Cruise doing all of his own stunts in the movie “Knight and Day?” Isn’t that wild? I haven’t seen that many jumps, tumbles, and acrobatics since Mom McCarty went downstairs to answer the phone. Isn’t that something?
How about that 16 year-old Abby Sutherland ending her round the world sailing attempt by being found off course by a French fishing boat. Isn’t that something? I haven’t seen anyone that off course since Mike McCarty rode his bike to Mr. Burger. Isn’t that wild?
