Papa Smurf and his group will be returning again this year. The F ing guy is back and The Milk Man will be delivering. Two guys named Jack and a Captain will also return. Arrival: Wednesday, the 12 of May, 2009 / Departure: Friday, the 15 of May, 2009 Package Cost: $219.12 per person based on a foursome/2 nights/3 days. Cart Rental Fee is an additional $14.00 per person per round. Groups are able to pre-pay carts if the entire group would like to do this for scheduled rounds. Please let the villa office know this in advance and we can add this into your package price. Extra rounds can be paid at each pro-shop and rain outs will be refunded on a credit card or with a refund check. The Committee has decided to continue to play 27 holes (first 18 own ball, 2nd 9 scramble) of golf per day, giving us more time to drink. If we decide to play more golf on a given day we just need to pay cart fees of $7.00 per 9 holes. Mike has made the starting tee times later in the AM to allow for drive time and relaxation. A FOND FAREWELL

Don and I will not be returning. We had a good run, but our time has come. We will be playing the senior tour from here on out. Seeing we can’t shoot our ages, going on 71 & 76 any longer even with our handicaps of 12 & 18. We’ve got a shot with our senior crowd, they stop counting strokes after six, something to do with the system they use, not easy to explain. We enjoyed the “good times” and want to thank the McCarty’s for the invite. I remember my first adventure like it was yesterday, Kelly was still serving beer on the return trip home. Thanks to Mike and Frank for all the effort they put into making it work. Reservations, tee-times, score keeping, skins, closest to the pin and longest drive (remember the “Ben Rule” – KEEP IT IN THE FAIRWAY). The putting contests along with the drinking contest “It’s not easy” trying to please everyone, and you all do a great job. Thanks BB & the F N guy for the picture taking and singing along with the dueling guitars. Also BB’s rendition of Danny Boy always a hit at the corner pub. Hey F N guy – keep ‘em young – go go. The euchre games, Steve, Frank & Mike some how we seemed to “break even”. To all involved a great bunch – unwind have fun and remember “Old golfers never die, they just lose their balls!!” Thanks, Ben & Don
