Annie’s
Club Journeys
by Megan McCarty
Chapter 1
Annie Marai
wants to make a club because
she is new at Dig-Di Block. She
plans to start her club at the club holder almost everyday.
But, she runs into a big problem.
“Come on, let’s go rate the new girls club!”
the popular girls shouted.
They walked over to Annie’s club.
“what is this place, a dump?!” Maggie said meanly.
“Zero!” Angela added, “-100” Maggie said,
“-1,000,000,000!” Stacy shouted.
“Come on let’s go back to everyone’s club.” Stacy
said. “Can I come?” Annie asked.
“No, of course, not… right?”
Maggie questioned. “RIGHT!!!”
Everyone except Lucy agreed as they left.
“Why didn’t you invite her?”
Lucy asked. “Oh,
she’s new” Stacy said. “But
we were all new” Lucy told Stacy.
“Yeah, in Kindergarten” Stacy lied.
“And where is my latte!” Stacy bossed Mallory.
“Sorry the other latte was over cooked” Mallory replied.
“WHAT, YOU IDIOT! ALWAYS WATCH MY LATTE!!” Stacy
shouted. “Well, I
was stuck fanning you, brushing your teeth and hair, and oh yeah
making you cookies and a new purse!” Mallory yelled.
“I’m leaving!” Lucy yelled.
“But we need 100,000 servants now, we have 99,999!”
Stacy whined. “Yeah
for 3 people, big ripoff. Anyways, I’m going to comfort Annie,
not how you did” Lucy said.
“I’ll pay you $1?” Stacy begged.
“If you guys can’t do anything yourself then you guys
are WEAK and SELFISH!” Lucy yelled.
“I agree” Mallory replied, some with other 99,999
girls. “WHAT!!!”
Maggie, Stacy and Angela shouted.
Everyone walked over to Annie’s club.
Mallory knocked. “Are
you going to make fun of me?” Annie asked as she cracked open
the door. “Of course
not we come to join your club, right?” Lucy asked.
“YES!” everyone yelled, it felt like the ground shook.
“OK, everyone come in!” Annie shouted happily.
Chapter 2 – Close Friends
Annie and Lucy
become close friends but may have some trouble.
“Woo-hoo!” everyone yelled as they danced to Jonas
Brothers songs. “This
is way better than pampering Stacy, Maggie and Angela!” Lucy
yelled. So Annie could
hear her. “You had
to pamper them in Everyone’s Club?”
Annie yelled back. “Yeah!”
Lucy yelled back.
“They aren’t
allowed here” Annie said as she pulled Lucy over to a quiet
place. “Good Mallory and I are tired of making lattes” Lucy
said. “I can’t make lattes” Annie whispered.
“Oh it’s easy all you do is make coffee, put whip cream on it,
and chocolate chips or Oreo crumbles on top of the whip cream”
Lucy explained. “Mmmmm, now I want one… No you don’t have
make me one because I’m allergic to chocolate” Annie said.
“Everyone I know isn’t allergic to chocolate, it’s
just different” Lucy said surprised.
“I know, I’m weird” Annie said as she walked to a
window. “You are my
first close friend. I had no close friends because I’m
different” Annie whispered.
“How are you different?” Lucy asked.
“I’m different because…” Annie paused.
“What? You are different because?” Lucy begged.
“The last time I told someone I was different they where
never my friend again. That’s
why I never had close friends because of this.
Will you never be my friend if I tell you this?” Annie
asked in a whisper tone. “No.
I will be your friend through sweet and sour times” Lucy said
comfortably. “OK,
I’m different because #1 I have no relatives so I live with
guardians. #2 I
don’t like Mallory, #3 I have problems with lying” Annie
whispered. “
NO WAY
! DID YOU JUST SAY YOU DON’T LIKE MALLORY! YOU SAID YOU DID LIKE
HER!!!” Lucy yelled, “I’m out”.
“B…b…but you
said…” Annie cried.
I know, but I’m out!” Lucy exclaimed.
“Me too!” Mallory yelled, same with everyone else. “I knew
Lucy wouldn’t like what I was going to say” Annie said. CLOSED
said the sign that Annie put up the next day. “I’m closed for
good and no more Lucy or close friends, except Megan” Annie
whispered.
Chapter 3 – Good
Bye Annie
Annie didn’t want
to be friends with Lucy, but when she got in the car she didn’t
want to go. Annie decided to pack everything away because no one
wanted to be her friend. Annie
was silent when Lucy came up to her.
“Listen, I want to apologize because I made a promise and
I am really sorry that I broke the promise and your heart” Lucy
told Annie. “I’m
moving back to
Michigan
where I had my first close friend, Megan.
She never did what you did to me” Annie said, “And I
gotta go my guardian is waiting for me”
Annie said. Lucy
started to cry. “I guess this is good bye” Lucy said as she
wiped a tear. “Bye”
Annie said almost crying.
Annie got into the
car. “Hold on!”
Annie shouted “I got to do something!” Annie hopped out
of the car and ran to Lucy. “I’ll
come to visit you” Annie said crying.
“OK!” Lucy cried too as she hugged Annie.
Honk honk went the car.
“Gotta go! Here!” Annie tossed Lucy a bracelet through
the air. It was a
friendship bracelet. “TTYL
AND THANK YOU!!!!” Lucy yelled happily. “You’re welcome!”
Annie yelled in a faint tone.
In the car ride
Annie started to cry. She
remembered the time when they first met and now.
Lucy put on the bracelet, so did Annie.
They held it close to their hearts.
The next hour was lonely. No
Annie, only Mallory who talked about Annie in a bad way so Lucy
broke up being friends with her. Annie was on the plane looking at
her bracelet and wished she was with Lucy. “Good bye”
whispered a voice in their minds “good bye".
Chapter 4 – Back
to
Michigan
Annie is now back
in
Michigan
which is her birth place. She
misses Lucy, and she might have a dream come true. “I wish I had
Lucy, she was like my Mom” Annie cried.
Annie fell on her bed and sobbed while looking at her
bracelet. “Annie!
Someone is here for you” her guardian yelled. Lucy! Annie
thought. Annie ran to the door and Megan her best friend was
standing right in front of her! “ANNIE!” Megan yelled as she
hugged Annie. Annie
didn’t know what to say because she had her mind on Lucy, mostly
on her heart. “Annie, Annie, ANNIE!” Megan yelled.
“What What Lucy, I mean Megan” Annie stammered.
"You have a friend somewhere else don’t you?!” Megan said
madly. Annie was red
faced. The phone rang,
“hello?” Annie said as she picked up the phone.
“Hi, it’s Lucy!
I just got off a plane in your town, where do you live?” Lucy
asked. “Apartment number 26 building number 6.
Gotta go bye!” Annie hung up the phone, this time her
face was even redder. Megan
was about to walk out of the room. “Please stay, I want you to
meet Lucy!” Annie whined. “OK, I’ll stay.
Is she nice?” Megan asked.
“Duh” Annie exclaimed.
Ding dong the
doorbell went. Lucy came and hugged Annie. “Lucy this is
Megan” Annie said as she crisscrossed her arms. “Annie has
been talking all about you” said Lucy. “Did she say I was
nice?” Megan asked. "Yep. Hey Annie there was someone on
the airplane who I talked to” Lucy told Annie.
Chapter 5 – Surprise Surprise
In the last chapter
Lucy said that she talked to someone, in this chapter you’ll
find out who. Lucy unpacked her bags in Annie’s room.
“I’m so excited for the sleepover with two of my best
friends”. Lucy, Megan and Annie all sat down at the table for
dinner, right when Annie finally sat the doorbell rang. “I got
it” Annie said rushing to the door with pasta stuffed in her
mouth. “MOM!!!!!!!” Annie shouted and cried at the same time.
“Your friend Lucy talked to me on the air plane and there is
another surprise, Lucy is actually your sister because you two are
twins but when you where born your Dad and I got a divorce, so
that’s why you guys didn’t know that you where sisters”
Annie’s mom said. Annie screamed and ran to Lucy.
After that day the twins life has been like this:
Lucy and Megan are
best friends now, Lucy and Annie share a room, Lucy lives with her
real mom and Annie has her mom back, Annie got to a doctor and
they did surgery on her and she has no more problems with lying,
and Annie got another appointment and no more chocolate allergies!
Because of this miracle, everything’s just the best! GOD HAS
ARRIVED!!
