Hi! Chris and I are excited about our engagement and are starting to plan everything.  We are going to take some pictures at the end of January/early February for a picture to put on the announcement and then we will decide what to say for the announcement.

We are going to talk to a travel agent to set a date.  We are aiming for February of 2009 in Mexico for the wedding.  We are going to try to have the wedding on a Saturday over a holiday weekend so some people can get that Monday off without using vacation time.  We would love for people to come down and stay for 3-7 days to celebrate with us.  We are planning on having three of our friends stand up on each side for the wedding party.

We are also going to have two casual parties after the actual wedding to celebrate our marriage with people that can't make it to the wedding.  One will be in Salem, Oregon in spring 2009, on Melinda and Neil's patio.  The other will be in Clinton Township, Michigan on Margaret and Kelly's patio in summer of 2009. We would love for the moms and dads are to plan and decorate these parties if they want to.

Margaret and Kelly are planning a trip to Oregon and Washington in July 2008  for their nephew's wedding.  We would love for everyone to meet each other at that time.  When we have dates, we will let you know.

We are so excited to be getting married and be joining each other's families.  We want our wedding to be a relaxed, fun vacation for everyone!
