Jenna, My Flying Sister An Original Story By Megan McCarty My sister had a normal 3 year old life, but on a crisp Saturday morning everything changed. |
“Megan, come get breakfast!” My Mom yelled. CRASH! “Ow!” “Mom?” I said. “Ow! WAAA!” “Jenna!” I thought. I ran to her room and her lamp was shattered everywhere. “Don’t move!” I said, “MOM!” I yelled “What!?” My Mom yelled | | . “Jenna’s lamp is…. OH MY GOSH! She’s flying and she looks like a giant human bat!” I said freaked out. I could hear my Mom coming up the stairs. “Wow!” My Mom said amazed, “We should call her Super Jenna, and give her a cape!” I suggested. “Get one of your super small shirts.” My Mom asked. I came back with one of my old shirts. We tied it around Jenna’s neck and boom! She’s Super Jenna! | “I’m Super Jenna!” Jenna yelled. “OK Super Jenna time to get breakfast.” “I’m super, you’re not” Jenna cheered. “But…” “I’m super, you no super.” Jenna said proudly. “Oy!” I mumbled. “I want super pancakes!” Jenna begged. “OK Jenna.” My Mom said, annoyed.
Everyday from that horrible Saturday morning my life has been like this. Every morning I hear, “Da-da-Da-Daaa” which is my alarm everyday from Jenna by throwing her teddy across the room and yelling “Super Teddy! But Jenna more super!” She threw her teddy again, CRASH! “Oh NO here we go again.” I groaned. “Mom, Jenna threw her teddy at her piggy bank!” I yelled. “I’m coming” my Mom yelled back. “JENNA, you can’t… Jenna gave Mom the boo boo lip. “OK, that works for now” My Mom said annoyed. “Please make it stop!” And I gave her the boo boo lip. It didn’t work. “Yay I get to break things and don’t get in trouble!” Jenna said. “I WISH I COULD GET REVENGE!” I yelled.
At night I woke up and though of a plan to get revenge. I thought I could tell Mom, but that wouldn’t work, cooking wouldn’t work, feeding the dog wouldn’t work. So I thought of this plan. My plan is: to figure out how to get the spell off her (That I put on her). And if I can’t do that, well I don’t know what’s next. “I’m going back to sleep” I said yawning. The next morning was Saturday. “Time for my plan!” I whispered. I ran in my bathroom and started working on my plan. I mixed H2O, green fizz balls, soap (non-toxic) and white powder to make it look like milk (Jenna loves milk). “Prepare to be amazed with… with… MILK!” I said weirdly. “What do you mean?” My Mom whispered to me. “I will make her back to normal” I said. “Good, I’m tired of super pancakes” My mom said relieved. Since it was Saturday morning, Jenna, of course, wanted super pancakes. “Jenna do you want milk with those super pancakes?” I asked begging for her to say yes. “Sure” Jenna answered. She chugged down the milk and she’s back to normal with milk! “Ahhhh, everything’s back to normal!” I whispered “I should call Daddy!” “Hey Mommy can I call Daddy and tell him about this week?” I asked. “Sure, tell him all about it” My Mom said. I went to the phone and called my Daddy’s cell phone. “Hello?” my Dad answered. “I need to tell a big story about this week.” I said. “OK, hit it” My Dad said. | | “OK, on last Saturday, Jenna ran into her lamp. And I saw Jenna flying and she looked like a big bat. Then for the rest of the week she threw her teddy at her wall and only once she broke something. Then I made a fomula and she was back to normal” I said out of breath. “My flight’s leaving so I’ll see you at 9:00pm tonight” My Dad said. “Bye!” I said as I hung up the phone. And now a normal ending. The end to a super weird week. I shouldn’t have put the spell on her. |
