. Is there any better time of the year than spring? Not for me. The sun comes out from hiding, the snow melts, the grass changes from brown to green, and you can feel the air getting warmer as each day passes. Spring also has that distinct smell that can’t compete with any other season. Everyone seems to be happier and more up-beat during the spring. Everything is changing in preparation for the coming summer. Spring brings new life and for some “love” is in the air. |

Non Alcoholic
Spring Cooler Punch6 oz can frozen lemonade
12 oz can frozen orange juice
6 oz can water
4 cups sugar
6 cups water
5 bananas
42 oz can pineapple juice
3 qt ginger ale |  | DIRECTIONS:

1. Boil the sugar with the cups of water in a large saucepan for 3 minutes. Allow to cool.

2. Mash the bananas in a blender and combine with the can of water, orange juice, lemonade, pineapple juice, and bananas in a large bowl. Add sugar syrup; blend well.

3. Freeze the mixture for at least 24 hours. Remove from freezer 1 hour before serving. Using a fork, break frozen punch into smaller pieces. Add ginger ale. Continue blending until slushy. Serve in punch cup's. (50 servings.) |

Hundreds of small bears on a shelf all the way along the floor, medium sized ones on a shelf a little higher and huge bears on the top shelf along the wall. The man is kind of surprised that this woman would have a collection of teddy bears, especially one that's so extensive, but he decides not to mention this to her. After a night of passion, as they are lying together in the afterglow, the man rolls over and asks, smiling, 'Well, how was it?' The woman says, 'You can have any prize from the bottom shelf.' |
| April Shower 1 oz brandy
1/4 oz benedictine herbal liqueur
1 oz orange juice Shake over ice in a shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and serve. | Gin Blossom 1 1/2 oz peach schnapps
1 oz gin
2 cups Sprite® soda Fill the glass about two thirds full of sprite. Pour in the schnapps, then gin. Put ice in glass to cool. | April's Apple 1 oz Apple Pucker schnapps
1 oz grenadine syrup
fill with lemonade Pour the Apple Pucker into glass, add Grenadine, then fill glass with Lemonade. Can be served on ice. |

1/2 oz Rose's® lime juice
1/2 oz vermouth
lime peel
ice | 
| Pour Vodka, Vermouth and Rose's lime juice into shaker over ice. Shake with care not to bruise. Strain into chilled cocktail (martini) glass. Garnish with lime peel (zest). |

4 cl Pisang Ambon liqueur
fill with Sprite Mix gently, and add ice cubes. Serve with a straw. | April's Violet 1 1/2 oz Bombay Sapphire gin
2 tsp Blue Curacao liqueur
3 drops grenadine syrup Pour the gin, blue curacao and grenadine into a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and serve. | Paradise In April 2 - 3 oz coconut rum

3 oz Hawaiian Punch Mix the ingredients together in a glass half filled with ice. |
| A BIT o' HUMOR One summer's evening Paddy & Mick are on their way to the pub for their usual drink. "Oim a bit tired tonight," says Mick. "Oi tink I'll just have a little lie down in this ditch and have a little sleep. You can wake me up on your way home later." "Roight, you are," says Paddy, and they separate. At the end of the evening, Paddy comes out of the pub and starts walking back to collect Mick from his ditch. He hasn't gone far when Mick rolls up beside him driving a big shiny Volvo. "Where did you get that lovely car from?!" asks Paddy, astonished. "Well, I'll tell you. It was loik this," says Mick. "There Oi was lying in the ditch having a nice snooze and Oi had just turned over onto me other side when up drives a lovely lady in her nice new Volvo and asks me if I'd like to come for a drive with her. Well, Oi thought, why not? It's a lovely evening for a drive. So in Oi got. She drove along for a bit and then turned off into a field. She got out of the car, took off all her clothes and said, "Take what you want!" So Oi took the Volvo. "Ah, well," says Paddy. "You did, right, Mick: the clothes probably wouldn't have fitted you, anyway." |

1 1/2 oz lime vodka
1 oz orange juice |

Pour the cherry vodka, lime vodka and orange juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, and serve. | Irish Spring 1 oz Irish whiskey
1/2 oz peach brandy
1 oz orange juice
1 oz sweet and sour mix
1 slice orange
1 cherry Pour all ingredients (except orange slice and cherry) into a Collins glass over ice cubes. Garnish with the slice of orange, add the cherry on top, and serve. |
