| Ask Gwenda Question: What is better, Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac or Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis at the Copacabana in New York? -Eric Swan Well if I had to choose, I would say watching Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis at the Copacabana Club would be more exciting and fun. That is of course if it was in the early years. Not when all the cat fighting started, not unlike the current cat fighting going on between Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. |
. But wait... Dean, Jerry and Lindsay had/have talent. I guess Lindsay will have to find a better suited adversary. That being said, I think if it was in the cat fight years, I believe I would rather have the $1,7533.33, per bottle, Louis XIII Cognac Smile. |
Question: What is in an Italian lemonade? I've had really good ones, and really bad ones. Looking for the recipe for a good one. -Kristen Well I know what my idea of Italian Lemonade is...... One really hot tall, not sexually confused STRAIGHT, single, loyal Italian with hair on his head only, not the back, butt, ears, nose, between the toes, etc., who's bills are paid and has a great sense of humor, making me a fresh glass of lemonade in his villa. You know the one on his island in southern Italy; his second home of course first being in America. After he has made this delectable beverage, he so readily brings it over to me places it on the table, on a coaster of course, in front of me and then proceeds to stand behind me and rub my shoulders as we stare off into the sea, with a gentle breeze teasing our hair, as we are laughing at the day that is ahead or behind us. Now that is my type of Italian Lemonade. But if that doesn't work for you, here is a simple receipe you can follow. Personally I recommend the version previously mentioned over the one that follows. Italian Lemonade - 1 1/2 oz Belvedere Cytrus Vodka - 3/4 oz Campari - 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice - 1 oz Simple Syrup - Cold Soda Water or 7-up - 2 Lemon Wheels In an ice filled mixing glass, add Cytrus, Campari, lemon juice and simple syrup: shake until well blended. Prepare a 14 oz Goblet by filling with ice and placing the lemon wheels inside the glass so they appear to be floating against the sides of the glass. Strain drink into goblet while spritzing with soda water or 7-up. | |
