BLUEGRASS PAGE

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!!!

IT’S TRUE! BRAD SAVAGE PLAYS BLUEGRASS, TOO!

A Metro reader writes:

I thought Brad Savage and former Cockroach Eddie Stein were rockers. After all, the Cockroaches just had a big reunion rock gig in suburban Detroit. But a friend saw this “vacation” picture in last month’s Metro,  and these two bear a striking resemblance to Brad and Eddie. A friend said they were jamming to “Cripple Creek” and a banjo-ey “Cockroach Party.” What gives?

Mike replies:

You’re right as rain Reader, hoo-wee, you are perceptive. It’s true, Brad Savage likes many forms of music, and he couldn’t pass up a chance to jam with Eddie Stein, who went over to bluegrass a couple dozen years after his Cockroach days. Brad, we understand Eddie wants to jam with you on another tune. It’s on this page.
