Christmas Time In NYC

Most of the Grand Rapids McCartys visited Andy and Ann and Sam before Christmas. One day, Ann drove Sam, Ryan, Missy, Karen and Jill to New York City. They parked two blocks from Rockefeller Center. (Sam did not enjoy the valet parking.) Andy stayed home. He had to work.

The McCartys went shopping and found a street value -- seven "I Love New York" shirts for $10. (Make a mental note: Go to NYC for next year's Christmas draw and get someone 21 shirts.) They also had lunch at Trump International. (Ryan claims he had a celebrity sighting -- Andy, one of the also-rans from "The Apprentice" came out of a bathroom.) And coffee at Dean and Deluca's. Sam made a friend in Central Park.

And they saw Times Square, just days before the big New Year's Eve celebration with Regis. (Get well, Dick.) A good time was had by all.
