Seems the older I get, the quicker time flies. I remember as a kid how excruciatingly long it took for Christmas to finally come, now, the year just flies by, and Christmas' come, and Christmas' go. I hope that you take time out with your family and reflect on this special time of year. Don't let another year go by without putting your own stamp on it. Don't forget that there will be no January issue of the McCarty Metro, so on behalf of our family, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

My final thought is about people who get depressed around the holidays. Whether or not you know it, there is always someone who thinks your special.
