Grand Rapids Only French Restaurant

Barack Obama, 'ze newly sworn in President of the United States, has stated that manufacturers of 'ze condiment mayonnaise are all racists and need to work to change their image. From 'ze White House Press Room, he delivered 'ze following statement.

"In an era where Americans can elect their first black president and in the week that we celebrate the 200th birthday of Abraham Lincoln, the great emancipator, people all over this country still have to live every day with the low minded racism of food manufacturing companies.
.

"Have you noticed that all mayonnaise is white? There is no brown mayo. There is no yellow mayo, or red mayo, or black mayo. There is only white mayonnaise. One company even dares to call it's product Best Foods! Another one says that their product is Miracle Whip, as if miracles only happen to Caucasians."

"Mustard companies make brown mustard and yellow mustard and spicy mustard and deli mustard and all types of mustard. They are the rainbow condiment."

"As of this day, I am calling on the American people and the world to boycott the use and purchase of mayonnaise until manufacturers recognize that more than one race of people eat their products."

Oprah Winfrey, the woman who controls 'ze... how you say... 'ze puppet strings, approved this message.

WHY FRUIT SALAD IS BETTER THAN A BANANA

If you are stuck in a banana-a-day rut, then here’s a good reason to chop up that ’nana with some strawberries, apples, grapes, and oranges. It’s called synergy. You don’t just get a wider variety of nutrients by eating more fruits. Those nutrients actually work together to produce even more powerful health benefits than any single fruit could alone. Think of it like compounding interest -- but with fruit! We all know that the antioxidants in fruits and veggies work hard to protect your body from aging and disease. But what you may not know is that those antioxidants work even harder when they have the company of other antioxidants. That’s why researchers recommend people eat 5 to 10 servings of a wide variety of different fruits and veggies every day. Watch this video for tips on sneaking more veggies into your comfort foods. If you tend to eat the same fruit over and over, consider breaking the mold next time you’re at the grocery store or farmers market, and pick up something you’ve never tried before. And choose whole fruit, so you get the most antioxidant bang for your buck. Read this article to learn about the five produce colors you should put into your shopping cart every time you shop.
