I figured I am just going to post the announcement here and invite y'all. Most of the people hangin out here usually hang here as well. So.....on Saturday 10-22-2006 we are planning on having a Halloween Party here. Starting at 5 pm, that should be about cool. You don't have to dress up, but can. Bring all the kids you can, hell, a tent and a sleepin bag and camp out in our backyard. How's that?

Anyways..... I hope to see most of you here!
Food, candy, drinks, sports, big campfire.... you know it.

LETS GIT ER DONE!

JUST CHECKING IN WITH THE NEIGHBORS

I love Halloween. We all have a great time on our street. I went around recently to find what everyone was doin on Halloween. My buddy Marlon from down the street is a real ladies man (if you know what I mean). I asked him what his plans were, and he just smiled and said he was going to "Pump Kin". He then couldn't stop laughing.

I asked my next door neighbor Earl what his plans for Halloween were, and he just spit and said... "Shoot. I treat it just like any other day. I'll wear my Confederate uniform and gives the kids a bottle of Budweiser." I went down to the Tennessee Republican HQ where I talked to my old buddy Nick. I don't fully understand it, but but I figure he must wear the color red a lot, because all the visitors that come into our town just call him Red Nick.

I went down to the junction to talk to ol' Uncle Joe. He wasn't there, but his 4 beautiful nieces were. Old Joe once told me that the parents named the girls after the calendar dates of their conceptions... Thus their names April, May, June, and Rosh Hashanah.  Well, I enjoyed a little hot cider with the 4 girls, and we had a lovely visit. Now, there is a rumor in town that there may be a bit of inbreeding in that family, but, heck.... I just don't see it.

I went across the street to a visit Martha. Martha is a frail, sweet little old lady that I affectionately call "Mom" she was just out in the backyard by her beat-up old car. I had my video camera, so I thought you might like to meet Mom.

Finally, I went over to Phyllis's house. She just got back from Burger King, and was proud to show me the picture of her engaged son that appeared in the local newspaper.

Well, that's enough excitement for one day. By the way, you may be wondering what I'm going as to my party this year. Well, let me try on my costume...

I'M GOING AS AN OUTHOUSE!!!
